Хөгжлийн бэрхшээлтэй хүүхдүүд бусад хүүхдийн адил сурч боловсрох, эрүүл мэндийн үйлчилгээ авах, хамгаалуулах, амьд явах эрхтэй. Гэвч тэдэнд эрхээ эдлэхэд нь нэмэлт дэмжлэг хэрэгтэй байдаг. НҮБ-ын Хүүхдийн сан Монгол улсын Засгийн Газар болон бусад байгуулагуудтай хамтран хөгжлийн бэрхшээлтэй хүүхдүүд болон тэдний гэр бүлийг дэмжин ажиллаж байна.

Supporting education of Tuvan ethnic minority children in Mongolia

Eight year old Bolormaa is a Tuvan girl who is in Grade 3 of primary school in a remote border soum, Tsengel, in Bayan-Ulgii province.

Located nearly 1,800 km away from Ulaanbaatar, at the skirts of the picturesque snow-capped Altai Mountains, Tsengel soum is home to around 1,600 Tuvans. These people are a “minority among a minority”, since Bayan-Ulgii province itself is predominantly inhabited by the Kazakh ethnic minority. In Tsengel soum, only around 20 percent of the population are Tuvans and the rest are Kazakhs.

Булган-Эрдэнэ хүү ээжийнхээ хамт шалан дээр тоглоомоороо тоглоно. Тэд өөр хоорондоо амархан ойлголцож, бие биедээ маш их хайртай харагдана. Гэрэл зургийн дуран Булган-Эрдэнэийг чиглэхэд тэр илт сэргэн инээж хөхөрнө. “Тэр жаргалтай, үргэлж л инээдэг хүүхэд. Одоогоор явж чадахгүй ч маш идэвхтэй, хаа сайгүй мөлхдөг” гэж түүний эмээ Эрдэнэжаргал өгүүллээ.

Tumen-Ulzii is an active five year old. She loves playing with her friends in the yard outside her house. Tumen-Ulzii goes to the local kindergarten.

Children with disabilities have the same rights as other children – to an education, health care, protection and survival. But they need more support to achieve these rights. UNICEF works with the Mongolian government and other partners to support disabled children and their families.

Making all kindergartens child friendly

Bat-Erdene stares at the piece of paper, with a look of intense concentration. He is drawing his favourite character, spider-man. Before beginning the drawing he debated with his kindergarten teacher how much paper he needed to draw spider-man. He wanted a bigger piece of paper in the room, instead they compromised on a smaller piece.

Билгүүнтөгөлдөр бол Бүдрагчаа, Нарантунгалаг нарын тав дахь хүүхэд. Тэднийх 13 настай охин Болор-Эрдэнэ, 10 настай хүү Билгүүнтөгс, 7 настай Болорцэцэг, 5 настай Болорчимэг гэсэн охидуудтай. Эднийх Хөвсгөл аймгийн Мөрөн сумын нэгэн хороололд модон байшинд амьдардаг. Бүдрагчаа жилийн турш улирлын чанартай ажил хийдэг бол эхнэр Нарантунгалаг гэртээ хүүхдүүдээ харан суудаг.

Bilguun-Tuguldur is an active one-year-old boy, who is squirming in his mother’s arms. He really wants to get down on the ground and play with his older siblings. When he is finally let down he runs after his sisters, giggling.

Bulgan-Erdene is playing with his mother on the floor with his toys. They have an easy bond and are very affectionate with each other. When the camera comes out Bulgan-Erdene comes alive. He poses for the camera, playfully smiling and giggling.
